It’s the 1st of March!

Is it just me or has it flown by?

Yesterday everyone was on about it being ‘an extra day’ and since it was also a Monday the #motivationmonday crowd were falling over themselves to out do each other.

 

“When nothing is going right, go left”
“Get up, eat well, work out, repeat”
“Strong is the new skinny, workout today”
“Take this extra day and make yourself better”

 

 

Anyone ever been motivated by these?

Literally none of those make me want to do anything other than swear at my computer.

See, motivation can come from outside, it can come from being inspired by others
It can come from a friend saying “let’s go to a class”
It can be from seeing the progress a co-worker has made

 

But when the days get tough, is that enough to keep you on track?

 

If you saw my post about motivation yesterday you’ll know that I admit I struggle with things sometimes too

 

We all do, and that’s fine. It’s normal. It’s part of the weight loss journey.

So what do you do?

 

You ask for help.

 

Here’s the real talk.

 

Ready?

 

It is the 1st of March.

SIXTY DAYS have passed since New Year
Clocks go back at the end of the month
And then it’s summer

If you haven’t made any progress it’s time to ask why.

 

If what you are doing hasn’t worked yet

 

It.
Is.
Not.
Going.
To.
Work.

 

Now it’s up to you

You can be STUBBORN and STRUGGLE

Or you can step up and say

“Hey, I need help with this’

 

If you’re ready, truly ready, to try

Take this as the sign you are waiting for

 

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR GOALS

 

If you want to be a different person in the next sixty days, let’s do this.
