This is a question I’ve been asked many times and if you’ve ever asked me for “a workout” you’ll know that I’ve said no. Here’s why…
Exercise is not the reason you lose weight.
It certainly helps, but having one workout will not allow you to see significant changes in your appearance or health. Despite what clever marketers would have you believe you cannot do a 90 day workout challenge and look ripped without other factors coming into play.
A workout from me, no matter how epic it was, would not change your life significantly if you have nothing else in place to assist you.
Safety and form.
Do you want to be injured? Of course not. What a ridiculous question.
Yet it’s something that many people don’t even consider. It’s a massive part of my job though – to keep you safe.
Yes, responsibility lies with you, if you’re in the gym juggling dumbells then you deserve that broken toe. But if you have a safe plan and you follow it you will see results without needing that inbuprofen and deep heat.
(and we all know how lovely deep heat smells….!!)
If I give you an off the shelf programme, no matter how epic it is, it might not work for your body and you’ll be disappointed with the results.
Lets talk nutrition.
Nutritional beliefs are many and varied and are as personal to people as religious or political opinions. Don’t discuss politics, religion or diets at the dinner table!
However you should discuss it with a coach who knows what they’re doing.
Can you find a nutrition plan online and follow it and see results? Of course you can. Google it.
Can you find a nutrition plan online specific to your body type, activity and health? Probably not.
If I give you a programme, no matter how epic, it cannot replace a good solid diet.
Motivation: to do or not to do.
I could give you a workout and a general “eat this” type of food plan and, after taking your money, let you go on your merry way.
This is an excellent plan if I want to make a quick buck and dissapear into the night. But, believe it or not, I do this job because the enjoyment comes from seeing others succeed as I have.
I want to keep you motivated when it gets tough because I know that’s why makes the difference between some progress and true success.
Do I need a personal trainer?
It depends what you want.
For general weight loss? No, you don’t need a personal trainer to lose weight. I lost weight without a personal trainer but it took me at least x3 as long as it needed to.
I had no direction.
I had no self esteem.
I had very little motivation and zero accountability.
I had zero knowledge about exercise or diet.
And I can publicly say it took me over 10 years to love and accept my body.
Do you have ten years?
So…Can I get a workout?
If you’re hoping that one workout will allow you to lose fat from your thighs or your butt or your stomach or wherever it won’t be enough. And that’s why I’ve never agreed.
See, I didn’t get into this business to give workouts.
I got into this business to bring change to people’s lives. And I can’t do that in one programme.
When you ask for one workout I’ll still say no, but here’s what I can offer you instead.
-
The chance for freedom from the weight loss mentality.
^^ this is DRAINING. It sucks your energy and takes over your mind. What could you acheive if you thought less about weight loss and more about things that interest you?
-
The chance to prove to yourself that you can do it.
How many Mondays have come and gone and all you’ve done is re-inforce to yourself that you’re incapable of change and incapable of success?
^^ It does not have to be this way. Let me show you that you can do this.
-
The feeling of being overjoyed with your body.
Not just “happier” or “more comfortable” or “less embarrassed” but actually overjoyed.
Imagine looking in the mirror and feeling
Sexy
Powerful
Fierce
Unstoppable
That feeling is the best in the world and every woman deserves to feel this way.
Can I get some life changing coaching?
^^ now you’re asking the right question.
I’m opening up my online coaching to 5 women who are looking to experience this change.
5 women who are fed up of mediocre results.
5 women who are ready to grab this experience by the balls and take charge of their own health and fitness.
So answer my question
Do you still want a workout?
Or do you want freedom?
If you think this applies then click here to fill in my application form.
I’ll be in touch with everyone as soon as possible – whether you are successful or not.
I’m only opening up 5 spaces so don’t hang around.
